In this post we are sharing Android 12 features and Phone name list which will be eligible to get Android 12 (Snow Cone) OS updates soon or later.
We’ll be tracking updates across the whole of the Android universe, but we’re not far out from final release day, so stay tuned, the official update could be here before you know it.

Android 12(Snow Cone)for Pixel devices
Android 12 will be coming to Pixel devices first and you’ll be able to get the Android 12 Beta right away if you want to try it out. The fifth and final beta was announced on 8 September, and final software released just on 4 October.
The following devices can use the Android 12 Beta, but note that this isn’t final software and some features might not work on phones:
- Pixel 3
- Pixel 3 XL
- Pixel 3a
- Pixel 3a XL
- Pixel 4
- Pixel 4a (5G)
- Pixel 4a
- Pixel 5
We’re expecting the Pixel 6 to launch with Android 12 out of the box. We’d expect the devices above to move to Android 12 at some point in October 2021, but this date hasn’t been confirmed.
Android 12 (Snow Cone)for other Android devices
Other Android devices will also be able to access the Android 12 Beta and they are likely to be some of the first devices to update to Android 12 too.
Android 12 released final version on 4th Oct 2021, we’re not yet including all manufacturers – we will only add those manufacturers to the list if they make an announcement or if they are part of the beta. Most manufacturers will not announce update timelines until Android 12 is released and we’d expect that to be in the very near future.
Instead, we’re focusing on those device that have access to the Android 12 Beta, or have been announced as partners on the beta.
NOTE: The Android 12 Beta is incomplete software and you use it at your own risk.
Asus Android 12 (Snow Cone)update
Asus has confirmed that it will be part of the Android 12 beta, but has told us on 27 May 2021 that: “upcoming Zenfone models will also be on the priority list for the Android 12 upgrade. More information will be announced at later date.”

Nokia has confirmed that it will be included in the Android 12 Beta.

It will be no surprise that OnePlus is part of the Beta, although it’s reported that the experience is essentially the same as Oppo, with ColorOS. We’ve also seen OnePlus mentioned in T-Mobile’s update roadmap.

Google recently unveiled the new Android 12. It is touted to be the biggest mobile OS update in the decade. It is coming with new material design changes including personalized interface, security control shortcuts, privacy label.
Here are key features you should know about Android 12!!
1) Android 12 will offer expressive, dynamic, and personal experience.
If you choose a wallpaper, the Android phone will blend the colour with the interface, the notification shade, the lock screen, the volume controls, new widgets, and much more.

2) Android 12 will make the phone quick in terms of responding to the touch of the finger with smooth motion and animations. For instance, when you dismiss your notifications on the lock screen, your clock will appear larger so you know when you’re all caught up..
3) Android 12 will improve the performance of the phone. It promises to reduce the CPU time needed for core system services by up to 22 per cent and reducing the use of big cores by the system server by up to 15 per cent.
4) Android 12 will bring the Digital Keys feature. Android phone users, depending on the model, will be able to unlock cars using either UWB (ultra-wideband) tech or NFC. BMW will be one of the first to introduce its cars with Digital Keys support.
5) Android phones will be able to use Fast Pair to connect with Beats headphones as well as cars from BMW and Ford. With a single tap, users can pair the Android phone to the accessories whether it’s earbuds, speakers, wearables or cars.
